I thought it was great man. I dont think it is hipsier at all. I think the tone for the short is spot on and well done. Not that you need my aproval but 5 stars for sure.

This is a pretty cool animation.
I really like your style and the quality that you create, not to mention the darkness portrayed hehe.
The old time saloon music is well fitting, and the atmosphere of this submission is spot on with the old cartoons of yesteryear.
I was going to vote a 3/5 stars but after watching it a second time I'm going to have to bump it up to a solid 4/5 because it's growing on me.
Keep up the great work and I will be keeping an eye out for the next Skitzo flick!
