True to form, this is how one dimensional the characters are... but the story is still awesome! Maybe not the scripted and presented story, but the true story of the anime...
Few people know that this series is the result of a psychotic breakdown which occurred during production. That's why it's spliced together so horribly at the end.

Jokes on me, I already watched the entire thing. I should've known that most of the entire series would be spent watching Shinji cry and whine for his fathers love. The ending though, now that was sort of a twist.
