it's a good platformer with a nice twist with the words... but ... the lag... where does it even come from? that and the music being just a little to distorted sounding at times is what keeps this from a 5 it could have otherwise easily had.

Really enjoyed the attitude and style- It's certainly addictive. And certainly difficult. I think I gave up around level 17, although I would have been happy to play more.
To be honest, I can't see how it's possible to meet the target times, unless there is a method I'm missing or you later gain something to make this easier.
Enjoyable music and graphics that fit the game, amusing text, interesting puzzles and utterly frustrating. I can see why you'd get so many points for a medal- if you get them at all.
Perhaps a tad too difficult, but as it's meant as a challenge game, that's acceptable. It's a game you can come back to and glare at, but not one I think anyone can 'complete' in a single setting, which isn't a bad thing.
4 stars for the fun, -1 star for the RRRAAAARGHHSPIKESEERGH.

I only found one secret level before I stopped (and yes it sucked). But I did beat it haha. Pretty entertaining game. Controls seemed responsive, and mistakes seemed to be my own (which is great in a puzzle game). I got most of my target times for the levels I played. I would have liked to have some story elements in the game as to what I was doing or trying to accomplish outside of just beating a puzzle game. I liked the taunting text boxes though, it almost gave me a portal feel. I just would have liked to tie something to those text boxes, but possibly I just didn't play far enough.
As some might have inferred I did quit before beating the game, but don't take this as the game wasn't good, I just got sucked back into doing something for a friend. I will come back and beat this at another time.
Pretty fun game I love the word puzzle + mega dying of an old school game.
would of been five tho if it wasn't for the one word battletoad boss, jump x forever = boring,
maybe more words/variety on the boss.
Extremely frustrating, I love it... the target time on some of the levels seems nearly impossible.
