Reviews for "MOON"

Really ugly/lazy art style, really obnoxious soundtrack and sfx, really boring story that doesn't go anywhere.

FIrst, the good things. The pixel art is great.

Then, the bad things. The slowest walk ever. Bad dialogue.

Last, the 'meh' things. I get the intent of establishing fear and tension, but it didn't work for me. The slow walk speed left me bored and frustrated. When you sacrifice the players ability to stay motivated, the game suffers.

Overall, MOON did not work for me. Others may enjoy it, though, so give it a try.

Not bad. I like the atmosphere and the experience. Found the secret room, but I cannot get any of the passwords! Especially frustrating is the fact that I cannot use Es and if I do, I have to replay the whole thing. Gets a little monotonous that way. Played through a couple times searching for clues only to still be stuck on "Life." It's driving me crazy (both the looking for clues and the playing-throughs as they take a little faster of a walking speed or spacebar to advance text would help?).

Its was really cool however i dont think of it as a "game"

Even if you admitted the sources of your inspiration, this is too much of a ripoff of those movies (Moon especially) to be considered original. The story isn't clear at all, even at the end, and equally obscure are some actions the player is forced to do (why should John come back to the outside after the transmitter has been already fixed? No reason at all).

Another thing that bugged me was the fact the first time I played I entered a room I probably shouldn't have (the one with lamp-posts) but when I arrived at the codes I didn't know what to type and when I pressed a button the game quit and I had to replay it from scratch.

But the most severe fact is that a game needs to feature some interactions, otherwise it's just a movie. Yours is a movie, for sure.

Thumbs up for the sfx you chose though: very fitting and spooky.
