Reviews for "MOON"

Amazing game, but still left with one question.

WHO WAS PHONE

I mostly agree with IceNDee, but I think it deserves more than just 1 star.
Grammar could have used work, and the monotony of just slowly moving across the screen.
There's a bit more that I could criticize, and a bit more that I could praise, (Like the art! I loved the pixel art!) but I just got a call telling me to head in to work, sooo...I'm just gonna end this by saying it's a pretty average game, not too good, but not too bad. Definitely made me jump a couple times because I wasn't really expecting a scary game.

I feel like you could have just made this into a movie instead of forcing players to hold an arrow key to advance plot. There really isn't that much of a game to play. I understand when a creator lets gameplay take a backseat to story or immersion, but you still have to make interactivity engaging and satisfying to the player. The player's role in this game is moving back and forth and occasionally pressing space when the game not-so-subtly prompts him to.

I have to acknowledge that your choice in sound and music helped create an appropriate atmosphere for the ideas you're trying to convey. I also like the pixel art, though it bugs me that John's walking animation is so basic.

I can't tell if you're trying to be funny, but the dialogue seems really juvenile and immature, which is strange since the game's plot is trying so hard to be dramatic. John talks like a teenager, not a seasoned astronaut.

I understand what you're trying to do here, but maybe gaming isn't the correct medium to use to convey your stories. Of course, this game is front page, so there are more than enough people who disagree with me.

That was creepy (:[

Good atmosphere and idea, but the animation quality, pacing and interactivity kinda ruin the immersion. More "adventure" like features could greatly improve this.
