Reviews for "MOON"

This is good as a story, art, and flash, but lousy, very lousy, as a game.
Now, I might as well say there is a half-decent but half-finished story that makes up this 'game', making one get left on a cliff-hanger with little information why anything at all happened in this game.
The graphics quality, and sound and music, was very good which makes up a large portion of my score.
However, as a game this is very VERY lousy. One has almost no control over their character, only being able to press left, or right, depending on the point in the game. In addition the character is unable to interact with the environment based on the player and their interests, the character works on his own. Also there is no info on the info involving the 'secret room' and 'passwords' that are needed at the end, and I was forced to cheat via getting helping via a cheater, to even find out what was with the secret room, which turned out to be nothing more than a stupid picture and some words from the author.
This is a crappy game, but a half-decent story.

On the bright side: BGM amazing. Pixel art cared for details.

On the not so bright side: Who the hell would go outside to a dark cold piece of rock when having allucinations? I would lock myself on cryogenics and wait for the rescue team to come. Also, the glitch at the end, it killed my mood to play it again.

The story is good and the script makes sense. Though you can do a better job, to be honest.

not bad. but all you do is go left and then go right. It would've been cool to explore the ship instead of only be able to go to certain places at certain times

Not a very big fan of this game. I can appreciate the atmosphere and the music, but the execution is a bit lacking. Don't get me wrong, pixel games can be very scary (5 days a stranger series)- but this one just doesn't pull it off. When all that you can do is walk left and right, you come to not expect much to be able to happen to you, and it takes away a lot of the potential for a horror game getting under your skin. Additionally, the 'horror' elements just appear randomly as well, without any explanation or real sense (being confused means you are not being scared), and the lack of life in the station just makes us unattached to the character or the plot - so we don't really care about seeing a random boogeyman apparition of him dead. For me, the final nail in the coffin was when i tried to enter some 'passwords' after the long lit walk. As soon as I began to type, the game restarted. And that was aggravating. The fact that the game barely had any hold on me (I was only continuing to see what would happen) meant that when it decided to restart like that, I had no interest in doing it all over again. I don't know if that's a glitch, or intentional, but if it's the latter, I would just like to say that restarting the game on players on purpose and making them lose all their progress is a REALLY poor idea. Otherwise, It's not a bad attempt at horror. I -want- to be scared while playing it, and the game tries, but just doesn't do it.

I'm sure what I'm about to say has already been said. There is nothing good about this game. The concept is you walk around an empty space station and start to hallucinate. You just walk left then right then left and then right. That's it. It would be okay if the horror elements were good but unfortunately they are not. This is because it just a bunch of random objects appearing that don't make sense. The mediocre pixel art does not help either. I would suggest if you plan to make a similar game make it longer and more in depth. I understand you don't want to a full on game and make more of a story however the gameplay should go beyond moving back and forth. Also make the story itself better. Instead of a man we know nothing about going mad for no reason you should craft the character better and provide a better explanation.
