Reviews for "Mad Princess"

Aw. The idea sounds a great nod to Deception and such games. As it is, with such small working space, a top down tower-defense m (in a giant castle) ight have been more what I expected.
I agree with the below poster Elani. I wanted to expand on the traps, to have some say in what maps I pick, I mean its the Princess' castle. Its a puzzle game without any of the benefit of it being the player's puzzle castle.
I didn't like the traps, they were not clever or gory enough to benefit our crazy princess. I got bored quick.

Several issues.

1. No sense of progression. No upgrades, no new traps...nothing. It's just a boring puzzle game.

2. The repair system is really, really bad. It's really not even repairing anything since you're literally buying the same thing again for the same cost. Completely dumb idea.

3. Again with the repair system..if you place two things next to eachother it still gets absorbed even when the other trap is at full health, wasting your money and forcing you to restart.

AdventureIslands responds:

It's very crucial feature in the final boss, but I admit that the repair system is far from perfect, it's there only so you don't waste blood because originally all traps broke if any of them were drop on each other. I'll come up with something better for sequel. Also agree about the progression, next game will also have different tiles and backgrounds.

cinderella went crazy

Get rid of the fact that placing a trap anywhere near the vicinity of a trap of a different type causes it to die and I would enjoy it more. Not bad, though.

AdventureIslands responds:

Dropping bombs on almost broken spike carpets is good way to wipe out agiles, I'll see if I do something about it in the sequel.

boring game
