There isn't really a true ending. As far as I'm concerned, letting yourself be killed in the first level for pacifist reasons is a "true ending," just as valid as the other endings that have more content before them. I may add more content for endings like that in the future.

Tried going for a no-innocents-killed run, said screw it after the thirtieth try of 'oh hey, I'm going to stand in this spot for a minute but move to the left the moment you fire at me and it someone else' stage.
