I have to disagree on this point. It was fun to own because the different ways the top was made made it interesting to battle others but for the TV series, yeah it was fucking dumb.
Dude BeyBlade was awesome when i was little but now they got this stupid ass GayBlade now (tho i think it was canceled) i loved it man it really jst summed up what me an my friends tried to make out of it when we played with our own BeyBlades
I just came home from work, needless to say i was in a shitty mood, then i watched this! :'D
Beyblade was indeed very dumb, and a shameless attempt to exploit kids, but it fell on its obvious built in flaw (Really? They tried to make dreidel-battles cool? how about that?)
Perfect parody of shounen-anime, where they take some nonsensical action and some stock characters and try to peddle toys related to that bullshit.
Ah yes, Beyblade, I remember that shit. It was one of those animes trying to cash in on the Yugi-Oh/Pokemon/whatever cheap anime toy game cashcow shit that's been all the rage the past decade. As always, the animation is great and the jokes are hilarious. Keep up the great work man.
