Meh... Needs a warning that you cannot recover ki in any way. I lost because I could not heal at the end. Only lost by 1 turn. Needs a rest option where you skip your turn to regain ki. Smooth animations, though each of the powers between the two characters had identical effects, cost, damage, etc. Would like to see a little more randomness.

wha... what is this crap?
I failed to see the rpg aspect of the game... Played all the way through the repetitive background scroll, fighting, and moves, hoping that maybe it wouldn't be over after the first battle. Seeing as the fight against vegeta was so long and unrewarding I feel let down on trying this game out.
Good concept on making a Dragon Ball Z rpg. Next time don't make the first fight as long, make goku able to gain experience to level up while unlocking new skills or combos through reaching certain levels or through spending the experience gained. Improve the speed of attacks so it doesnt take forever to win the battle, Ki regenerates, Lower enemy health, more battles, ability to replay through the game after completing to go onto a harder level while still having all of your skills and exp. Think Diablo 2. Normal, nightmare, hell. On the second difficulty being able to be super saiyan would be a nice touch.
Like I said, good idea but bad execution.
This game is so broken.
