Nice concept, but sadly riddled with errors. For example, it's Bill Rizer, not "Razer". DuckTales, not "DuckTails". Donkey Kong, not "Knog". This version of Solid Snake is from Metal Gear, not Metal Gear Solid (which is not a NES game). It's Ganon, not "Gannon" (yes the name was misspelled in the actual game, but the instruction manual and every other game in the series spells it correctly). You've pictured the White Sword, not the Master Sword. And as far as I know, Mortal Kombat and Earthworm Jim were never NES games. Same with Earthbound (though it IS a sequel to the Japan-only Famicom game Mother, so I'll give you a pass on that one...)

This would be ten times better if the characters weren't so cluttered together. I don't even understand why that is - you already have us panning the camera, so why couldn't you just make the area a bit bigger and space the characters out more?

For this style of hide-and-seek game, not terrible. The way the music cut out for a while before starting up again drove me a bit batty, and as another reviewer said, it started looping through characters again right when I hit 136/137. Some of the sprites could use a bit further spacing between them as well, to make them a tiny bit clearer.
its only letting me cycle through characters with space and giving me the names even though i never guessed.
