I Played Death Worm on android and was definitely better than this one, but this is not bad at all :).
Yep.. a little bit too easy.. i just had to press W+D all the time i never died.
However, i have a 3-core 3GHz processor and a decent graphic card, Skyrim and Dark Souls do not lag but.. This game lags to me! a lot! like some other games here on NG...
Can someone tell me why?
Tons of fun, but a little too easy for me... as always with effing worms... add more upgrades! Geez how hard can it be to realise that everyone wants more upgrades? Well otherwise... SUPERD work and I'm sure this wll keep us amused 'till may 2013!
It's mainly an issue with balance and pacing, would you prefer the game to be longer + more upgrades, but be less rigged / less intense?
Death Worm is an example of a slower paced / more strategic worm game:
So as I type this, my game is still running. The worm is so big now I can't see a thing other then greys and red, my combo hitting beyond a 1000 and my score rapidly shooting way past 18,000,000,000. Nothing says game like a point generator. I love the worm serious, but this one was a little too easy and the challenge completely disappears as soon as you can kill from underground.
I enjoy a good point gainer type game, but the fun for this one goes fairly quickly when unstoppable. I normally rate this game high because of the enjoyment factor, but this one much different to the effing worm 2 and I even submit or be proud of any high score when I suspect everyone else will of managed the same feet.
1: tape down up key
2: leave computer and make cup of tea
3: come back
4: profit
Merry Effing Xmas indeed! This really gets your adrenaline flowing.
The gameplay was similar to the previous versions - no need for commenting on that.
I liked the intro and the Santa munching part as well.
I only wish the campaign was longer, with as many as 20 different upgrades to choose from.
But i guess you'll take care of it in your next game.
The medals work fine, i got all of them.
Waiting eagerly for the sequel... Merry Christmas !
after a while it just comes to the point where your just wracking up combos....very nice.
