This is such a cute game! Love the art and the music :)
Though now I will be quacking the tune all day... however I would say that it does get a bit repetitive and the controls aren't that smooth. I personally think the story line needs to be put forward a lot stronger than having to read two lines under the game. It is a bit weird with no back story what a random boy would be catching ducks with net...it could be even more interesting if it was expanded and you could search for other equipment for catching ducks, and just make it completely silly (like a box with a quack crackers underneath them etc) or a fishing pole. though in 2 hours, impressive!

This game numbs my brain - and I can't say for sure whether it's really a bad thing or not.
It's easy to see why the game can be made under 2 hours - duck sprite, hero sprite, background, repeating background music, toss in the SFX you can hear when you use the net, and you're done. And even if I say that, it is quite fun ... if you remember, and had enjoyed the Nyancat fever last year ... They made a game for it, remember? That's how linear this game is as to the NC game. Numbing, addictive, plotless sweet torture.
I stopped after getting 30 or so ducks. Couldn't handle it.
Art: 3.5 stars (I absolutely love the colours, no idea why they appeal to me so much)
Sound: 3.5 stars (Duckarmy Anthem, anyone?)
Controls: 3 stars (would prefer if there was an option between WASD and updownleftright)
Gameplay: 2.5 stars
Overall: 3 stars (3.1 stars)

Well this game was a fantastic occupation while waiting for something! although we have to take into consideration that this man...or woman took 2 hours to make this game which is in my opinion quite surprisingly adequate!
I would give it a 5 if most of Newgrounds had games like this but unfortunately i'll have to go with 3. The main issue is that the game gets too boring after a while [at least after 150 ducks] and the only thing that makes you want to go on is the fact that you can earn many medals from here [which i actually did..hehehe..I JUST HAD TO CATCH THEM ALL!!] Personaly i didn't mind the game much, in fact i kind of liked it. But since i have to speak with objectivity in such matters i wouldn't give it a higher score. Nevertheless it was a good game and you sir/madam should keep up the good work!
The music is getting extremly annoing after an while.

GOSH! It is pretty hard tryin' to catch all those ducks!!! I don't know if I would stick around to collect 500 for the medals....I think it would drive me nuts. Otherwise it was fun for the first 5 min or so. I think it would be better if there would be a special duck or something you would have to avoid like a wolf every couple minutes or so to break up the monotony.
