Reviews for "Dungeon Faller 1.4"

Fairly interesting concept with funny quirks that may set it apart from the pack. Probably my PC, but it is somewhat laggy. Also, the controls seem a bit confusing, and this is another game that induces that "Guitar Hero" effect where you look away and everything's all WOOBLYWOBBLYWIBBLYDOOBLY.

I really like the addition of weapons, %100 custom controls, and difficulty settings. These things make the game much more accessible for just about anyone.

out of 10...

gfx - 8.5 (good sprites, somewhat disorienting however)
sfx - N/A (I have no soundcard)
design - 9.5 (fantastic levels with classic RPG feel)
gameplay - 9.5 (challenging and also stimulating)

overall, a great game that really feels quite fluid. Favorited.

Thanks for the review, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the game

i loved the concept but i think it could use a little bit of cleaning up. my favorite part was the "Oh shiiiiiiiiiii...." as u fell lol

TheKrimsonKrusader responds:

Yes there are still some little glitches with the game I'd like to hammer out before I officially call it "finished." Lol thank you, that's my favourite part too :p

Not bad! The graphics need some work but nice concept, and it's not that easy I kept retrying over and over!

TheKrimsonKrusader responds:

I'm very glad to hear you enjoyed it, and found it challenging! Thanks for the review.

This is a pretty cool little game, but the lack of a mute button hurts it considerably.

TheKrimsonKrusader responds:

Thank you for the review, I will consider this for future updates

Ehh... The character felt kind of stiff, you cant jump and the falling horizontal speed is slower than the running speed, even if you were to run off the edge (which is all you can do). I want to be able to jump around and kill the enemies for experience or gold while risking my life to an ever scrolling screen, that risk/reward factor would help. forgive me for not playing long, I could only play about 5-10 minutes in, so ive yet to see if money or levels play any part, but if those issues would be addressed it would already make it much better. oh, you also seem to start with arrows but no bow, whats up with that?
Here's hoping you can either update those in or add them into the sequel

TheKrimsonKrusader responds:

Jumping is available around level 6 when you unlock the "Leaping Cape." As for starting with arrows, I have no clue what you're talking about. You cannot acquire arrows until you have purchased the bow.
