I found this to be a great flash, can't wait to see what happens next.
Oh, and to PixelDragon: There are two things stopping the piston travel from being possible. One: the character's speed - let's face it, any minecraft person would NEVER be fast enough to cover that horizontal distance. And two: fall damage - really, falling hurts (surface landed on doesn't change it).
