Reviews for "Legend of Pandora"

FUN!!!!!! It's sad when you die. I'll come play more later but I wanna go play Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

At the beginning I thought "Yeah this game has everything I I'd like to see in a Zelda part: Levling, more weapons and a talent system system!" At the end I thought "Okay, this game lacks everything I loved in Zelda: Usable tools, hard puzzles, a catching story and super boss fights..." And by the way the end was exactly what I expected and sucked very bad. But keep up the work, there is a lot of potential in this game!

There's nothing inherently wrong with this but it's not really 'Zelda-like' when 90% of your sprites are almost directly taken from Zelda games.
Sure the gameplay has some RPG tweaks but this really would've served better if you just ditched the original premise and just made a Zelda tribute game.
The sword-play is rather flawed in that it is not possible to swing the sword in a south-easterly direction, severely limiting the direction at which enemies can be fought off at.
The leveling up is also flawed with skills like dexterity serving almost no purpose when luck performs a similar function.
It's a nice game and it's fun but some subtle tweaks and a conceptual change would make this game really stand out.

Super Zelda feel! The world goes on & on & twists & turns without ever being repetitive or tedious. Very nice balance of save/ teleport points. The weapon & upgrade balance is a bit easy to bypass/ unbalance, but not critically so. I kind of like not having to hit a creature 500 times to kill it :-D

Two glitches, but small ones:
a) The "Poisoned" written warning stays up after you consume a cure poison potion. This made me feel like an old geezer driving along with my blinkers on ;-)
b) If you hit any other move key as you transition between screens, you bounce back and forth between the two screens. (Which made me feel like an old geezer u-turning in traffic without signalling

Thank very much & hope you make it into a Pandora series!

Hmmm...I have to agree with what most people said about the ripping from Zelda, the almost non-existent storyline, repetitive quests, repetitive monsters, and very hilarious ending. But I still liked it. I saw in the description "... retro-fashioned Zelda-like adventure game..." That means he ripped something off a Zelda game. I already expected that. Also, the protagonist did not decide to randomly kick monster ass, the grandpa wanted his damn newspaper and sent his Grandson, who he's trained for this kind of sh*t, to get his damn newspaper.
