Its a good game, but way too obvious on how to play, gets a bit repetitive.
I love this game. Zipp & Anselm play off each other really well, the bosses are creepy without being too scary for a sissy like me, & of course, it has plenty of medals. I got every one except for 2 secret ones: one at the end of the first row & another second from the end of the second row.
If I had to find fault anywhere, though, it's that nowhere in-game is it actually explained that you have to draw a pentagram with the lantern to finish a boss demon off after depleting its health bar. Not knowing that got me killed by Betel once. Also, New Game+ mode was almost disappointingly easy. I thought it'd be like hard mode, but it's just the same levels with you having all the powerups to start off with instead of collecting them between levels.
this seems very castelvania esque. really great. the controls are a little clunky. but the story is great. the characters are great. the artstyle is great. and the music is epic. you have got greatness within you . respect..beyond words
couldn't jump and reload. kind of sucks when you have to dodge things.
