Reviews for "Dr Who - BlaBlaBla Daleks"

I don't really like the floating hands style, lack of mouths or the voice acting. The writing wasn't too interesting to me but that may be due to never really caring for Dr. Who. That being said. Everything else looked good and felt good. The explosions were a bit loud however. I managed to enjoy this a fair amount.

I can't follow any of this... or maybe that's the point to Dr,Who?

Did you not see demon's run and a good man goes to war? They kind of explain the origin of the word doctor across all spacetime. It was REALLY cool.

A sharp, observent parody of Doctor who. Generally what I'm seeing when Doctor Who is on in the house... Completely inane, non-sensical plot lines with ridiculous sci-fi rules that constantly conflict with itself. For me though, the animation is really a let down; even the most basic of animations feature lip syncing, and the lack of limbs just seems like a shortcut rather than part of the animation's style.

I've personally never seen Doctor Who, but this still made me chuckle a few times.

I think my major gripe with this is, even though you're going for a "floating hands" style, it's pretty lazy animation overall. The eyes aren't animated and they don't have mouths, which really breaks the feel in my opinion. If you had at least given them some life in the eyes, which is often where your audience is looking, I could have overlooked the lack of lip sync... but with them being so static and frozen I end up feeling bored, because there's no contrast in the acting, I have to rely on the voice acting which (while pretty decent) did not carry me the whole way.

I think the gags and the delivery are fine. The humor is there and for someone who doesn't watch the show you still had me chuckling... but this could have been something so much better!
