I really like this. It's sort of like a puzzle. I think I've discovered a few things:
People slowly consuming the trees close to their villages, and the trees become "grass 2".
If you create a small lake next to a town it will actually drain and become sandy around the edges over time.
If you burn a large forest the trees will start growing back slowly, pixel by pixel.
Anyone else notice anything?
This game is shaping up to be a brilliant game. It still needs a bit of work, but the main concept is great.

First thing that comes to mind is that the interface is so tiny. Zoom functions would benefit greatly.
Other than that, more "Game" to this game would be good - up to a point, at least. I dont want to have to manage everything, but i would like to be able to influence things a bit more.
Secondly, some minor features such as ships or bridges would be nice. Insta-Generating land connections between islands are weird, to say the least.
Great potential here.
