A very good simulation, however it has shortcomings. Starvation is rampant, even when the island is literally dominated by trees and the cities full of food. Isn't a bit odd to have 500 people on an island, with three cities with 1300 food, and yet starvation is a crisis? I think implementing farming, fishing, and animal raising would be a good add-on, and would lessen the unbelievable dependence on trees.
I like the meteors :). Most people complain about them, but I noticed that meteors only target barren, de-populated cities, and only kill those who happen to be under the meteor by accidental wandering. It's a nice way to clean up the island. I like how flooding is possible too.
What I'd like to see is the people being able to sustain themselves (e.g farming, fishing, etc... as said before), start cities, and form factions and nations. Later on you could add revolutions and wars and such. Maybe another French Revolution will give these little guys a drive to actually eat for once ;).
3.5 stars out of 5, which is good, and this game has lots of potential!
