Reviews for "Spartans vs Goblins"

good idea for a game but I think it's could've been improved it was fairly simple until lvl 6 IQ the it got more difficult and at lvl 7 i couldn't think of a single thing to do that could beat it...really fun maybe add an animation when you win/lose like show the goblins/spartans killing the spartans/goblins in a cool little animation or something...overall easy and a good time killer

I didn't really understand how the game worked, it seems really cheap to me.

cheat: if you lose hit the "menu" button then play and play once more
ta-da it resets its like a redo button :P
got to 5 IQ simply by doing this over and over and over...

This game is like impossible to beat you know? my I.Q sucks :-(

Good idea, but could use a little work.

I like the overall idea of this strategy game, but with strategy games it requires a lot of depth for it to be a great game, and this falls in the middle. While it does take a little little strategy, I found that the AI was pretty easy on most of the levels, and winning on some of them required more of an exploiting a certain move pattern than it required actual thought. The only thing that I kept wishing for was a general idea of how far the enemy could move each time, because they were programed knowing mine. I also didn't understand why on some levels I could move the length of the field, but others I could not.

I did really enjoy the game though, and didn't find getting the medals difficult to obtain like some people have stated. I would have liked a little more depth to the AI, but felt the rest of the game played very well, and that the graphics were nice. I think maybe some kind of battle graphics between the armies when they were next to each other would have been a nice addition to the game. It also would have been nice if there were more than just three rows during attacks to add a little more of a challenge to the game. Once you figure out that the person who attacks secondly will lose (unless you miss-click), then the levels are a lot easier and you can win five in a row with no problem.

Overall I liked the game, but it doesn't really offer a lot of depth, or replay value. It did, however, offer a great way to kill ten minutes, so that is always good.

Thanks for the time killer!
