Reviews for "Creatively Complicated"

Love the design for the game, it has an interesting name and the game mechanics are sound. Interesting choice on music for the background. The achievements page is lacking. There is no descriptions for what you have earned. A tad simple, but well put together.

it was a little easy

Here are my thoughts:

First of all, I've noticed that there are lots of inventory spaces. What is the point in making so many slots when you only have, what, 3 or 4 items?

The second thing is, this game makes me feel like it's a pixel finding game. You have to stand in a fixed place to do stuff. That's kinda annoying, especially in the monster room. I couldn't use the sword on the monster, whenever I clicked on it the message "Hell no that guy is deadly" popped up 'til later when I found the exact pixel. It took me 10 minutes to finally get rid of the monster.

Thirdly, this game gives very few clues. I have no problem with those puzzles but what drives me crazy is to find out what to do with the puzzles. Only then I can solve them, easily.

But, in the other hand, this game has nice and simple graphics that I really like, yeah, and the music, too.

Overall: 3.5/5

Well, aside from that number puzzle, this game is pretty simple. The gameplay is a bare minimum and I didn't really enjoy myself. That art was cute, which is good enough for me. The background music was ok too. The game overall, is ok, I guess.

Hint: I couldn't figure out a pattern for the number puzzle until after I finished it, but you can figure it out just by playing with it. Notice when you spin the circles, certain numbers light up. This means that the number is in the correct place. Every number has a correct place; so, you sort of have to Rubik's cube all the numbers into its spot so they all line up.

SPOILER:
(The correct sequence is:
1,3
1,4,3
6,10
5,12,7
5,7)

I enjoyed the graphics and music. Overall, the game was quite nice but the lack of clues made it difficult to solve many of the puzzles.
