Fantastic little game~
Had some issues where Derpy wouldn't follow the bubble or followed it in an odd manner (taking a longer unnecessary path to the bubble)
Had trouble getting her to respond to the second log as well, but I was still able to complete the game with relative ease.
I love the game but a few things held it back. I have a bleeding edge computer and felt like I had just barely enough power to run the game. For some reason after getting a muffin Derpy would refuse to follow any and all commands until after she ran into a nearby thorn bush. But even without the muffin thing there were area's where the pony would get all confused and it would take a bit of time and wiggling until I could got her to start following the bubbles again.
Derpy, after she is done eating, she resumes to follow the bubbles instantly, unless they are out of her sight. Since you are saying she run into thorns, you had to control her since she won't walk into harm on her own.
As for bleeding edge, 4 cores are recommended for smooth gameplay (with i5 I have no problems even on full-screen). 2 cores is absolute minimum - it will be playable, but probably not without disabling the shadows first.
Not bad! Very cute, good animation. I wasn't crazy about the gameplay, but i was interested enough in the story to finish it. I feel like the story was missing something though. Im assuming she doesn't live in ponyville at this point, so where does she live? what was wrong with her home? Its basically just seems like the bubbles lead her through a perilous forest to go to a new place...
It would be better if she was lost and they lead her back, or her parents were killed or and she was searching for a new home etc. Could you fill me in? thanks, and great work.
I liked this game the graphics were good :P and I liked some of the mini animations like when Derpy finds a muffin :D it's cute
Welp.... I WOULD have liked to finish this game, but it lagged so badly, it crashed my Flash reader. I really would like to see the ending, but at this rate? Ill be lucky if i ever make it past the stage where the first Timberwolf shows up. But, anyway here is what i think of the game SO FAR. The gameplay isn't too bad, though i had issues with the controls. You see, i could get Derpy to follow the bubbles on STRAIGHT paths... like, long ones. But with the tight corners and the precise movements i have to make sometimes, i couldn't do it.
The music was great. No complaints here! It fit the game and settings well, and i particularly enjoyed the music during the first few stages. It got a bit creepy afterwards. The art was pretty good. I liked the scenery and the design of the forest, but Derpy herself looked a little... Off, sometimes. The story, I'm not familiar with really. I assume this is how Derpy acquired her Cutie Mark, but since i cant make it past that one particular level i mentioned (The Timberwolf one, due to the controls...) i don't know what happens to her. I saw in the Description of the game that this was based off a Fanfic... Or, at least that's what i think i read. I dunno.
Ill give you a 3.5 Rating. I would have rated higher, oh i would SO rate this higher... but the controls and lag just didn't want to stop being total Gilda's. Sorry, and i hope this could be updated so that those things are fixed. If they are, you can expect to see me here again, with a better rating in hand... er, hoof.
