Reviews for "Flash Bash"

When a command grab has a full screen charge, usually you can be hit out of it, normally any attack--at worst a low hit. You can't do that to Ingor.

When you make a grappler who has super armor, and is capable of spamming near instant connecting grabs at a moment's notice; you fucked up.

When there are characters like Dan, and Melinka who don't have any real options to avoid the incoming rape train that is Inglor because of simple gameplay mechanics, you really fucked up.

That said, I really enjoy most of the mechanics and styles of the characters, (save for a few: Ingor, and Melinka who can just spam low/highs and able to do 50+on a cherrytap) and I love how it takes timing and skill to master, but things like that can easily ruin an experience.
TL;DR: ingor brkn melnka op plzfix kthx

I like the game, it's one of the best flash fighting games I've seen. Standards are low though. For example, Dan and Zombie Inglor are pure spam. My computer freezes on low quality (Not the game's fault) and they do the same combo and 50% of your health goes down the dumper. Some challenges are seemingly impossible and I can't do it although someone else could. My laptop sucks so it's not my decision to argue about it. I love this game, but there seems to be a little bit to much things wrong with it like entire characters and such. 3.5/5 stars, needs more improvement in my opinion and it makes me think of playing only the cheap characters. I'm still gonna play it cause I like this game!

The game is alright, but it could have been better. That's the bottom line. I'll break it down part by part.
Audio- 4/5. The voice acting was a little silly at times and was usually hard to understand. Whoever does the acting needs to be louder and more confident, although it's a bit late now. The sound effects were alright. The music was superb though, and double the awesome for using NG artists. Really good job on that one.
Visual- 3.5/5. If we're going to be totally honest, the art needed work. I understand how hard it is to come by good artists, and it didn't really bother me that much, but ideally the characters would have been cleaned up a bit. Some of the animations could have used some work as well, but some others were pretty cool. The menus and everything all looked fine. Nothing super cool, nothing bad.
Gameplay- 4/5. The gameplay suffers from a spammy zombie bastard and a two-button system. I have always found that in Flash fighting games, two buttons is too few and four is usually too many. Three is the golden number IMO because it allows enough variety to have a large move set, but not one as large and confusing as you'd get out of four buttons. Speaking of move sets, the ones in this game are honestly pretty good. However, Inglor's moves are overpowered because he is usually invincible when performing them and he can grab you at any time, even though he is supposed to be slow. The AI also spams Piledriver like nobody's business, so I would look into that if I were you. The AI was phenomenal for the other characters though, and the extra game modes were cool. I liked the achievements and unlockables as well.
Misc- 3/5. The characters and their moves needed a little more definition and background. These guys aren't memorable. Fighting games like Tekken are popular partially because the characters are so amazing and they each have their own personality. These guys don't. The game also needed a mute button.
That's about it.

The game i itself is pretty good and very addicting, but it's plagued by bad controls and slightly bad voice acting sorry, but someone had to say it). Also, one last thing, when Dan Mcneely does is trapped tackle, it looks really funny. Just watch it, and you'll understand.

a fair game. slow but other than that not too bad
