Reviews for "Three Skins Without Men"

Absolute, all-out cinematic beauty.

The atmosphere you have created here is beyond words. The texture of the film's imagery is stunning in its graphic detail; the background score is harmoniously tied to the enormous mood of the story; the writing is deeply inspired. The ending is simply breathtaking, and will leave a mark on my mind for many weeks to come.

It's hard to believe I'm reviewing the same author of the "Fat-Pie" series, or even the earlier installments of Sock. You are a true inspiration to all of us. You are living proof that, amongst us many thousands of novice flash authors, we can become professional animators, capable of the amazing work we have seen here, tonight.

I remember when I was watching Salad Fingers at the age of 13, and subsequently making flash animations of my own. I owe that to you.

Warped and abstract, I'm impressed that in this often random work your narratives are always far from abstracted. This is finely crafted work, artful and thoughtful, a dreamscape that stops just sort of demanding contemplation -- if only because its facets reflect so much nonsense and obvious illogic as to make it more of a stern but polite request.

That these dreams are often horrors gives them a gritty tension throughout, no matter what is actually happening. These are descents with thinly veiled threats of terror and vague intimations of beauty that may never appear, with no Virgil to direct or explain to us. In every place we are bewildered in the literal sense: cast to wandering in an unknown land, which in this case still seems at times terrifyingly familiar.

Fascinating work. Art in every sense.

The world of your dreams, eh? No wonder your vids are so messed up. XD

A great representation of a dream. It actually felt like i was dreaming watching this. Disjointed and barely making sense. The dog singing in the end was the best part!
