The animation is pretty good, and the voice acting is okay, but your plot/writing really needs some work. Definitely a lot of potential here!!!!

Effort amazing.
The voice actors are pretty professional, a lot better than most I've heard even compared to TV animation. The flow is nice and works great with the music to create tension and suspense and whatnot. On that note, the animation is amazing. Great use of angles, camera shots and blurring.
I could tell that you probably put a huge amount of effort into this. Well. It shows.
The story is good so far, the voice acting was brilliant, and though I did think the animation and art needed a little work, you've still really got the hang of it. It was well paced, the music fitted, the suspence built up very nicely and just... it was just really well put together. Seriously. I can see this going really far.
I'll definitely be looking forward to the next episode of this. And I like the anime style, though that's kind of a matter of personal taste.
I don't know a ton about animation, but i have thought about attempting it a lot. Maybe it was just the page of comments i saw but i thought it was sad that you put so much effort into this to have so many "could be better"s. What's wrong if it's like an anime? I love anime. Yes a lot of the characters look a like but that's just what your skill level is at right now. I enjoy work that is not polished.
My skill level is a lot like yours, I have great stories in mind but my depiction of them is not the best, therefor i do not even try to animate them or draw them out. I like that you have worked past the fact tthat maybe your skills are not what you would want them to be in order to produce this. The story is more important to me than the art and you're doing a great job on both. Your "eye" beasts are fantastic and fit perfectly. The voice acting was funny and had memorable quotes ("Suuuure, sure you are"). and it was so long! Thank you. :)

The animation is decent, but the plot was rather predictable, the characters are rather cliche and they all look alike. You have potential as an animator, but your story just lacks originality, depth, dimension and maybe a bit of deviation as well.
I'd love to see the second part however, but I do hope that the animation will have a more original plot, something more distinguished, and less alike anime.
