I was surprised and possibly and a bit confused by this. Recursion has always been an interesting topic for me to explore. I think you may have made an error or two in understanding its true purpose, but who cares? What matters is that the animation is great. What's also weird is how you really find yourself rooting for the guy here. There's no dialogue, just great animation.

I'm surprised this didn't get a higher award. In the past couple of days, the Daily Feature winners have gotten pretty low scores in comparison to other times. Even the logo is done in a pretty cool way! So that's what an an all nigher is like. I hope I never have to pull one of those.

If by 'errors' you mean the part where they stack on top of eachother, it was fully intentional. I wanted to confuse the viewer by bending the rules I made, just when they get comfortable with it.

I like it, the sounds are simple in a good way and the animation is good. My only criticism is that now days everyone is trying to make a deep abstract piece of art. Problem is, the abstract art is way to straight forward and always toying with the same ideas.

I think what you are experiencing as 'abstract' is the fact that more and more animation professionals and students (like me) are using Newgrounds to share their work. In my opinion, it's because Newgrounds' own group of notorious animators are steadily moving towards more professional and artistic creations. In fact, the reason why I entered the art academy for animation is mostly because of this very website.
And yes, the works of students and pros are often more experimental and have a deeper meaning, because that's what animation is so suitable for. I can imagine that this creates a contrast with NG's usual content and that not everyone is enjoying it. Still, thanks for watching!
