Heh, strong reminders of Monkey Island. Thumbs up. Gotta love silly commentary and silly puzzles.
The game looks quite nice. It's a pity it was just a demo.
I quite like point-and-click games, and all the steampunk style. The graphics were quite nice and it looks like a very polished game. This was too short, though, being just a demo. Also, the game description (here in Newgrounds) doesn't match the game content (here in Newgrounds)... in my opinion that's kind of false advertising.
On the flash part, I liked that the mouse pointer was an actual mouse pointer; Flash usually behaves laggy if the mouse pointer is a moving sprite. Wonder why don't all Flash games do this. Also, it was nice to have videos being streamed from YouTube (although I never trust YouTube since videos might unexpectedly disappear from there...)

Thanks for your feedback! We will think about what we can do to find a more fitting game description. About it being "too short": We did our best to put as much content in the demo as possible, to make it at least as long as the average flash adventure. Due to all the speech files etc. and the fact that we aimed for 10MB at max. we had to cut it down to what you see now. But since the demo covers the whole beginning of the game and two cutscenes I think we did a pretty good job offering as much free gaming experience as possible. Thanks to everyone giving the demo a chance. :) Regarding the mouse pointer: Native mouse pointers were introduced in the last flash version, so not everyone has heard the news about them yet I suppose.
Good game but I found a bug in the tutorial:
I got the blue and yellow socks, put them in the boiling pot, and used the fork -- not having found the green sock. This gave me a pair of green socks, even though it said one was lost, and it used my oil can for some reason, making it so I cannot get the provisions or continue on, and now I have to start over.
Good game otherwise
This game is wonderful, even if the American voices don't match the length of the characters' talking sequence.
I love your games and they're such an inspiration for someone like me (an inspiring game designer). Keep up the amazing work, so you can keep inspiring people!
