Hm, not bad for a start. Now I'm no animator but I can see a few things. Now, you gave a bit of mystery at the start. A robot running away, what was it running from? The girl, is she a robot as well since that eye came out? Maybe a bit of text, you don't have to use dialogue but if you're going to keep it short try to put a bit more emphasis on interaction, talking is a good way to emphasize it. You could splash in a bit more color, quite a bit of green and brown along with yellow. But still good for a start.

to be honest, is pretty good, for just a moment i thought it would be a simple animation, but after i see it... i can't find the right words to say it.
i sense a shining future on you. But of course, that depends on the dedication you give
on your animations.
the ending was a little confusing with a little lack of common sense
[but we are talking about a robot(?) in the middle of the forest giving a
strange eye to a girl, so common sense is something i sould never say.
Anyway the charatchers were kinda simple, same as the sound effects
but the music and the background were...beautifull

I really liked your glow effects, and the animation was REALLY smooth, given this is your first time to flash. I think if your art improved a little, you'd be a hell of a contender. Also, I would recommend darkening the backgrounds, as your glow effects would be even stronger.
Really, there's a lot going for you here. I'll be watching your development with interest.

If this is your first attempt for real than I will say this is actually pretty good. Keep working on it and I'm sure you'll make some really good flash

While the last minute or so doesn't quite meet my tastes (but this is of course purely subjective feeling) I very much liked the serene introduction with the firebug zipping around.
