I remember watching this in 3D on the 3DS Video channel; that was the first time I ever saw it. I really loved it! The art style was lovely, and the animations were simple but worked well. Watching it become more tattered as it went along was just...it tugged at my heart, somehow. Just a great little movie overall.
I don't understand how this can have a so low rating, since it's better than the 99% of the crap circulating on newgrounds. It is very well done, both the animation and the sound effects. The ending partially disappointed me, since I was expecting something more interesting, but it was all really worth watching.
Totally agree with the other sentiments expressed already. Such a simple and beautiful journey film where you geniunely "feel" something for this little sail boat. Love the little scenarios that it sails through and the little details. Totally captivating.
This is really good! I usually don't bother watching to the end of the more slowly paced animations, but this was very captivating and heartwarming. The animation was very well done, and I really enjoyed watching.
