I agree with the message in this animation. You can't possibly create real wealth by inflating the money supply. You can print off sheets of paper until the surface of Earth is inundated in million dollar bills, if you want. But not even money itself can escape supply and demand forces. Once it re-equilibrates, the amount it will have helped the economy in the long run will be zero - and according to some economists, negative due to the debt taken on from the false boom.
Mostly I come to NG to be entertained. When a flash actually represents a real opinion about relevant issues, and I think it did a good job conveying the message, it gets an automatic 5 from me.
