are you suposed to get an item besides the sword before you fight the shield spire? wheni go down there with just the sword, the exit gets blocked off and i can't do anything to him.

Nope, all you need is the sword. You just need to figure out how to fight him! (or check the walkthrough)
VERY good game. Brings back memories of the old days when the gameplay and the story kept me going and curious.
Also goes to show that you don't need crazy graphics processors to make something really enjoyable :) Excellent work.
The game is awesome, but some medals are not working right.
Loved this game. Very hard and fun. Took me about 5 hours to get everything. Hope i see more games like this soon.
