Reviews for "Zelda the Welder"

having a problem with the bomb...problem is on the blue circuit ill hear the sound and see you rock but the animation for the final part on the blue circuit wont happen so i get stuck and cant do anything else so i fail....tried many times to get it to work but no luck...love the game though great art its pretty funny too

I agree with ApostleGraves (below). You need something you can navigate with your finger. I myself was playing this game on a laptop, so I used the finger pad. I think that a pen pad would work also.
The music is catchy (though repetetive) and the sound effects awesome. I find it hard to beleve that you made this in 48 hours
:)

To difficult with a mouse, would be better on a touch screen phone. Still I like the idea and would even pay for it if it was available on Droid and iPhone

This game was... cute. It had funny little intro scenes, nice gameplay that required a bit of manual dexterity... nothing deep or complicated, but I had a lot of fun. Actually, I had more fun with this than some of the 'deep and complicated' games, so well done.

So firstly, great game, incredibly reminiscent of the 'Trauma Center' series, which I'm a huge fan of.

The characters and environments were all beautifully illustrated and looked, simply put, absolutely fantastic. However, the fact that the characters' movement was depicted only from jarring changes of illustrations, rather than smooth transitions, did detract from their personalities and the overall immersion present within the cutscenes.

Furthermore, the characters themselves were actually all hugely likeable; even the ones who were meant to be jerks! You managed to create a whole host of characters with huge personalities, and a hilarious script carrying them through perfectly, though the soundclips having two different languages was a little disorienting - with Zelda shouting lines out in Japanese, followed by the Angry Customer replying "Why I oughta".

Also, the music was another highlight for me. It was not only cutesy, but fitted the overall upbeat atmosphere perfectly and it really helped make it a more enjoyable experience all together.

In conclusion, the game was absolutely fantastic, with a great play and art styles, though with one gaping flaw - the length! I realise it's only a flash game, so the length can't be massively extensive, but when you look at games such as 'Yeah Jam Fury', which features 46 levels, 3 levels seems measly. As a demo, this game serves as a taster for something ground-breaking, but as it stands, it's just too short.
