a great game but for some reason the third level in each line of levels is much harder than all the other levels in its line

a solid game with tons of upgrades and enemy variety, and decent music.
the weapons and mod selection is pretty good.
my only real issue, and the only thing keeping me from giving you a 5, is the pure, unadulterated, and unmitigated cheapness of all the bosses, atropos and the one before it specifically.
i have no idea how you though that a boss spewing that many totally unavoidable shots was a good idea, especially considering the few defensive options we get are kinda meh when up against that much enemy fire.
maybe tweak the bosses so they arent so ridiculously cheap, and it'd be a solid 5
although being similer to frantic,its still very fun. wish you could move with the arrow keys tho
It's a pretty cool game, only a few problems:
Enemies feel too resistant to damage, even lesser enemies take way too many shots to die.
The protagonist feels like wet paper, the damage just flows too quickly to him, and the upgrades don't do much either.
Some weapons were just awful or had ridiculously short range to even work.
The homing weapons are just plain unfair; you can't shoot them down, so you have to either dodge them out of the screen (which is nearly impossible because of their momentum loss when they turn) or wait for them to lose their time (which is too long), not to mention the sheer number of them appearing at once.
I still loved this game, and I do expect a third one, only with a better "feel" to it.
It's great, but even then, I only made it to 24, Unable to beat it at all. Too much damage absorption, leaving me dead instantly. What the hell do I do?
