Art and the music are beautiful but good lord who taught you how to write a storyboard or a storyline. If I had to make an educated guess it would be the british show doctor who. Sure I just met you but I want you to come along with me no questions asked. No? Okay. I'm just gonna leave and not fix your roof leaving you to rot in your prison forevermore. Sheesh what a bad story. The ending was pretty bad in itself. For these types of plots, the ending would have been better if he flew away and it skipped to several years in the future and she turned on his picture projector as a reminder of what she missed out on and have her wear the goggles. The whole throw away your entire life of fear for a cute boy ending will only appeal to uneducated girls that like fairy tale endings.

This movie is so original. So inventive and fresh in the way it looks and sounds like every single 'artistic' children's film made in the past 30 years. With such a creative setting: steampunk. BOY, there sure hasn't been enough steampunk cartoons lately.
This cartoon makes me feel so emotional. Specifically, it makes me feel the "I am watching a dialogueless steampunk cartoon in the 21st century" emotion.
This was the most whimsical and the most black-and-white Professor Layton cut-scene ever created. Good job.
Also, erasing all the sketch lines on character faces is for sissies. WHIMSY WHIMSY ART WHIMSY ART ART ART.
