Reviews for "Paraphernalia"

It takes skill to make something so moving without speech. Great job.

That was cute and provoked feelings in me. Thanks

@UltraHammer It's okay, everyone dislikes too much effort put into things, especially "whimsical art" or "steampunk" as you described, which to you seems a lost and shunned artistic niche. Emotional? You are pretty emotional whining about three minutes of animation. Here, let me indent to make an un-needed paragraph of a comment so all can divert their eyes to see.

Just take a deep breath, exhale, think over your life, and stick your head in a toilet.

WHIMSY WHIMSY WHIMSY WHIMSY WHIMSY.

You want some whimsiness? The whimsiness is cranked to 11. It is unhealthy to take in this much whimsy at once.

This movie is so original. So inventive and fresh in the way it looks and sounds like every single 'artistic' children's film made in the past 30 years. With such a creative setting: steampunk. BOY, there sure hasn't been enough steampunk cartoons lately.

This cartoon makes me feel so emotional. Specifically, it makes me feel the "I am watching a dialogueless steampunk cartoon in the 21st century" emotion.

This was the most whimsical and the most black-and-white Professor Layton cut-scene ever created. Good job.

Also, erasing all the sketch lines on character faces is for sissies. WHIMSY WHIMSY ART WHIMSY ART ART ART.

I can't believe how I missed you on Newgrounds. I look forward to your animations in the future.

Is there a story behind this, or do you leave that to the viewer(s)? To me, I think that this girl lived her whole life never going outside thus being a pack rat with a lot of junk everywhere, content with it all until BAM! A good-looking guy on a flying machine doodad crashes into her home and shows her what the world is like outside through slides (and see him too :3). She gets to be his travel companion and friend in the end :D

Lesson: there is so much in the world to see. It's better to explore and discover what the world has in store than stay cooped up inside.
