Reviews for "Last Dance 2"

I'm not a fan of these kinds of games because there isn't much that happens. It's just you clicking on the same buttons over and over. Well, I guess technically most games are like that. I appreciate you having some pretty good drawings in this. I think I got the best ending because I got to the part where it said "To Be Continued...". In case anyone's wondering, you get there simply by clicking on the top part of everything you come across except where you get the gun to kill yourself.

The music is also pretty atmospheric. It truly is cool watching the medals pop up when you complete something. I assume there's one for every method of ending the game, some how. It just doesn't need to be that talking. It could be more like an interactive movie, I guess. Fans of yours will probably like it.

Shroom-Cushion responds:

Well, the point of this IS to read, not just mash everything. Of course you can mash everything, but then why even bother playing this game? And there are 4 "happy" endings, that carry on to the other game. I mean, the concept is real simple, the point isn't "GET TO THE LAST SCREEN". But of course your point stands, not everyone enjoys that.

Yeah, music's awesome - thanks to one of the NG users BlazingDragon.

So yeah, thanks for the review!

I liked the idea, I know that the graphics SHOULDN'T be perfect, but I would play this more if it had better graphics/images/whatever, by the other hand, the music is really cool and fit's this "dark air" that you tried to give to us, the choices are funny and creative.
Keep up the good work and try to improve this graphics "issue", your looks like a good scriptwriter, you should group up with someone who can give you the graphics while you're the mastermind behind the story.

Shroom-Cushion responds:

Oh, I doubt that I would get myself a graphic artist without being a widely -on the newgrounds- know person. Anyway, my graphics may improve... I mean, they should, at least a little as I go on, just don't know when and how is it going to happen. D:

Thanks.

I love this kind of game, and there's a good variety of choices and endings in this one. It definitely adds to the replay value that there are multiple paths that worldbuild. A lot of creativity went into this.

However, some of the text screens felt a bit long winded, especially compared to the first game. Furthermore, there were quite a few grammatical errors. One example is on the second screen; "to choose the faith of our hero" instead of "choose the fate". This felt extremely careless, considering the bulk of the game is text.

But, overall a solid entry, and an intriguing addition to a growing series. I'm looking forward to the third one.

Shroom-Cushion responds:

Oh darn, grammatical errors. When I bug tested it, I found shitloads of grammatical errors, I don't know how they happen, I'm just writing and I sometimes don't even notice that I missed a word or wrote a word that sounds similar, but isn't actually the same word - obviously I missed a few during my own bug testing, so thanks for the catch and review. I'll fix that one in a sec.

Cheers!

Better than I thought it'd be, but it still lacks in a few areas. It would've been more fun with better animation and a few more choices.

Shroom-Cushion responds:

I'm sure it would, that's why I'm backing away from these series for a while to get more experience by trying out new things.

Thanks!

Like Ive said b4, its ok

Shroom-Cushion responds:

Cool.
