i thought meta knight was from kriby's planet and before it was destroyed meta knight captured kirby and practicaly rescued him though kriby is still to young to understand. though meta knight wants to clone kirby on occasion to replicate the fallen race he cannot do it for his sword " which gives him his wings" is powered by rage and corrupts the wielder. so he needs kirby to clone though i think he wants to use earth for the new planet which would involve wiping out the other species.
other than that good animation.
but this doesn't explain how he got the wings. jk, This was a good video. idk, what the idiot below was watching but it had good animation and I like your theory of how he became Metaknight.

I agree that it could have been longer and it would have been good to see MetaKnight take out his childhood trauma on Kirby (or at leased attempt to and then flashback sequence)
Really loved it and I'm not sure if anyone noticed the N64 Kirby music, background and need to collect the shards. Definitely a nice blast from the past that I was not expecting. Thanks a lot!
