So I really had to give this game good marks. First of all; the art style was very creative and unique for the genre. I found the controls easy to use and they were very responsive. It began with a proper difficulty setting and got progressively harder. All-in-all, a great game!

Definitely one of the best mecha/shooter games I've played. Excellent work! Had me hooked from beginning to end. I saw your comment below about making the sequel focused on a survival mode, but I think the campaign missions were great. I just wish there were more of them. Possibly more missions about survival, but not necessarily a main focus of the sequel. Wish I could give more than 5 stars for this, though!

Means a lot to me Ninja. With the experience i gained from making this one and getting the feedback from the players the possible gare2 will feature a lot more i hope. The survival is something that from what i can dig in the comments and all some ppl really enjoys that type of game. The problem now for me is what i will do for the next one. Survival is something, a turn based something more strategical is another, or just another top down. Im just one person, doing all the art/design/programing/music/sound levels takes a lot of time.

Fun game. spent quite a while on it (more than I wanted! ;p) I will agree with some that the color scheme blends everything together and makes it difficult to distinguish certain aspects. Suggestion on such would be for the upgrades (shield and armor) to be green. Leave the bots as they are, but changing their gunfire color to red would help everywhere except maybe on the laser level. I look forward to the hinted sequel, maybe make it so there's a save reader for a tiny boost (don't want to overpower people) to firepower/health/shields. Maybe even have the drone be a purchasable thing that's free with a loaded save.

THIS IS A GOOD GAME :D
I liked the game a lot. It had just the right number of upgrades, which most game designers simply cannot grasp. The effects were all really good and the game's length and difficulty curve were both spot on.
I will say that the story was pretty weak and that the things that look kind of like trees should be more distinct. I can't tell you how many times I got stuck on one without realize what was in my way.
Overall, one of the best flash games I've played this summer!
