Was a decent game. I actually kept getting stuck by the insta kill of the rockets on the first boss though. Other than that, it was ok.

I've been playing for a few hours. Love the design and the upgrading.
Not bad, but I found a weird quirk: If my mouse leaves the game area the plain shoots into the top right corner, hap-hazardly flying through anything in its way... I lost a few lives from this... It wouldn't be too hard to fix, you can either make it so the plain stays where the mouse last was before it left the game area, or you can make it fly to the bottom middle area (giving the player a small chance of avoiding oncoming enemies).
It's a great game. There are a few problems though.
It seems to run slowly. I don't know if it's the game or Flash but it gets slower the longer you play it.
I didn't play the NG version enough to check but on NotDoppler there was a problem where the first screen kept flashing onto the stage in the middle of playing levels.
I also think the frequency of bullion drops needs to increase greatly. It takes far too long to accumulate bullion considering one of the ships costs 30 and you might get 1 per stage if you're lucky.
i do not like games where you need plenty of in-game money and time or real money to get the good weapons. these games are only to become rich and lack a good story. by the way, what have air planes and war to do with notebooks???
