There's an interesting Gamer Theory video on YouTube about the Creeper and what it actually is or at least what it sort of could resemble in reality. There's a strain of moss that actual projectiles it's pollen at a pretty incredibly powerful speed. So when Creepers explode, they pelt you with seeds. Whether they kill you or not, they spread and guarantee the survival of their species.
The movie was funny. I liked it.
