Well, it's not all that good. First off I have to say I LOVE defense game but this one is just lacking in A LOT of areas:
1. First, PUT IN A CROSSHAIR OR TARGENTING ICON!!! I cannot say that enough. In 99% of shooting games you have a crosshair, a laser dot, a bullseye, something that shows you where you shot is going to go...this game doesn't have that; you have to rely on how far away from the Hero the cursor is and how much power is behind your shot? I mean what kind of lame brained targeting system is that?!? PUT IN SOMETHING SO YOU SEE WHERE THE SHOT WILL LAND!!! I mean all I did was let the monsters get right up to the gate and rain arrows down on them, that's the only way I was sure I'd get a hit.
2. Second, take out the fact that if a monster gets past you, you loose a life, that's how I lost because I was trying to hit all the monsters by the gate AND the flying ones...again this is where some kind of targeting icon would come in handy so you could see where your shot would hit.
But this review is not all bad...I do like the upgrades system and the summons...though all I had was the Ice Ghost and the Golem. I'm sure that with a few tweaks like the aforementioned targeting icon this game would be A LOT better.
