An awesome game, words can't discribe how cool I think this is!

I did it!
I finished the game!!
It was very hard,especially because I was really scare of the monster... :)
But you guys that are complaining that the game is hard are not really trying to win.
Be patient and try to understand how the monster "attacks" works.Then you can walk in the rooms and find the objects that you need to run away..

Obviously a lot of work went in too this game. Which does show. It has flaws. Which show. I am surprised as too the lack of shadows in any room. Running from the ghost does not work. Finding a shadow too hide in makes the concept of hiding difficult with the ghost right on your toes. I can not say I have been able to get very far ever single time. As a developer you should realize that people playing your game need time to adapt too your concept. This game doesn't allow for that soon enough. I do love what you are trying to bring too a survival horror. Survival horror has been lacking what with all the survival horror knock off action games. I always cross my fingers hoping for a survival horror more like Haunting Grounds, or the more recent Lone Survivor. The element of survival is in your game but the horror is just annoying, or sparingly in that of items you find. Your sound work on effects is probably the highlight. It would be nice to have more comments from the main character on his place of living. Memories of the dead, and thought as too what that means too him now. Experimenting is fine but listen now too the obvious and redevelop this. It has the potential too be another Lone survivor if you want it.

This game seems rather well done, but somewhat feels unfinished. What I mean by that is the story-line. I didn't get much into the game before the ghost got me. It was nice to find the letter and have a intro to the story, but I think you can work on the story while finding items, like the char can give a hint as to what happen to his family with each item is picked up. I do enjoy a fine story to go with my game like FF10 or the Tales of... games.

Another thing I want to bring up is the ghost. Yes I know you got a lot of posts about the ghost and all, but I want to put my input on it. The ghost seems to come out of nowhere and runs at you at super speed. Maybe turning down the speed or give a reason why they're moving fast now rather then slowly like, the char's son is a mad ghost and will run after the main char when in the light and only in the light. While on this point, they seem to come out of nowhere. Yes I know they're ghost, it would be nice to have a warning if a ghost will be coming after me. That maybe why some people not wanting to play again.

The idea seems fine for the most part for this game, but I think you can work on it a bit more and run with it. Try going with some of the ideas here and rework the game and see what others thing of it. I for one, and trying to make my own game and enjoy this game much. I never made a review in my life time, but I feel this game can be made batter.

I come to realize that most people find the ghost to be too hard. Even though his mechanics are pretty straight forward. If the player is in the light, he will spot you and follow you. If you are in the darkness he can't find you and will randomly walk around until his patience runs off and vanish. However, during this phase he can actually randomly walk into the shadows as well and, if he is close enough to the player (even in the shadows) he will run towards the player, thus giving you a game over.

Personally I like that so even though you are in the shadows you are not entirely safe. If the ghost walks into the shadows its a good bet to just run away from them. I know of these mechanics of course but the players do not! So that's something I have to shed more light on for future releases.

I like your input and it really helps a lot. I read each and every review. I would really like to see more of these sort of games instead of mindless zombie slaughter. We'll see how this plays out :)

the idea was really cool, and i think this game has quite a lot of potential, im sure you've already been told about the lack of a save point, and the insanely crazy game mechanics, but serously, dont give up on this idea! P.S. good work on the damn ghost, i palyed this the first time in the middle of the night and randomly this res-eyed thing sprints at me full force, and when i died this creepy face picture popped up and nearly gave me a heart attack XD, Good Luck! -Phantom87k
