This game has magic crystals AND cute creatures!
Badass game. Beat on hard. Extra zone boss is kinda a little lacking in special ability. Tons of hp but the ability just doesn't give the same kind of 'oh shit, clicky clicky'. Lovely tower upgrade tiers, very balanced. Difficulty is nice.
At least on hard mode when trying to keep all your crystals, there's a little bit of limitation on build strategies, since the balance of enemies coming at you neccessitates certian towers, or at least certian basic tower types.
played this dozens of times since i was little always a lot of fun but never did manage to beat that final boss
