This deserved more than 3rd place.
The music choice was perfect, and the animation concept was new and exciting. Some animation points could have been a little smoother, possibly (the grabbing of the blanket, the tying of the cape), but it does not detract from the piece and It still shows a solid understanding of animation fluidity. It'd be awesome to see more of your work!

Reminded me of both Monsters Inc. and Where the Wild Things Are. Very nice animation. While I don't necessarily agree with previous commenters' opinions that the lyrical music was a bad choice (Owl City has good music for these kinds of fantasy settings IMO), I think it would also be great to use music that does not have lyrics. There is undoubtedly an abundance of musical material to peruse and choose. I'd love to see your animation style with a different setting or story. It's very pleasing to the eyes.
