Reviews for "Final Ninja Zero"

Not sure why it's just me, but every time nitrome puts a game up here and forces me to watch 30 second ads the game fails to load and tells me to check my internet connection.

seriously guys?

EVERYONE:
Many of you have been raging about the ads, and your discontent is justified.
HOWEVER.
What some of you don't know is that Nitrome is not a single person. Nitrome is a COMPANY that makes games. So, it only makes sense that they would sell ad space for their games, because that's what a company has to do.
Basically, if Nitrome doesn't put ads on their games, they get no money, therefore they can't make anymore awesome games!
So, stop with the complaints; it's 30 seconds out of your life, just enjoy the game.

I agree with Jarngreipr and rebaz. Ads aren't the devil or nazis or anything. Watching them for thirty seconds isn't going to hurt anyone, and anything longer than that typically lets you skip them. They're very accommodating and at least put effort into being relatively unobtrusive to those who don't want them.

I also agree with AndEex. If you don't enjoy making games, then perhaps making games isn't right for you. However, I disagree on the point that attaching ads to your game is some kind of statement of distaste for game-making or desire only to make money from it. Personally, I feel that such a deduction could only be made by a highly sheltered individual who has never spent a day earning his or her own livelihood. Now, this could be because said individual is a child, which would make this naïvety understandable. That is the situation I am hoping for, because any adult who honestly believes that slapping a short advertisement on a game is the definition of greed is an imbecile.

Look at Nitrome's history, AndEex. Look at the sheer number of quality projects he has submitted for the approval of the public. It is the worst kind of ignorant lie to suggest that there is no love or passion there. So, what is so wrong about trying to shift the source of one's livelihood toward that which one enjoys doing? Are you really so selfish as to only care about your own entertainment over the well-being of the generous individual providing it for you?

Nitrome, I love your games, and I try to play as many of them as I can, but I agree ElricMasenko a bit. The gameplay is too stiff. The very first scene also leads to a lot of confusion as to what it will actually be like. The graphics are good, as usual, though not as creative as many of your simpler games. I'm sure that, to fans of the Final Ninja series, this is a terrific game, but it's just not doing it for me.

To the people complaining about the ads: are you really that stupid? This whole website requires MONEY to run, the guys creating games DESERVE what little they can get from ad revenue, seriously, "making games just for fun" is nice and all but theres a difference between that and being a serious game developer, dont insult them with that idiotic nonsense of yours.

About the game: the game was fine, i agree with the rest of the constructive critisism, wall jump could improve a bit (it was a bit slow), some kind of melee "finish him" move would be cool, customization would be a really good plus and would add to its replay value, music tends to be a bit tedious (its good but repetitive), overall really good game!

@AndEeX
After the first loading screen reaches about halfway (or something like that) to the end, you can skip it. The only thing you'll do is watch the ad(s) for a moment. Then there you go, another loading screen for the game itself. If I were you, I won't mind it. I'd seen a company close their site just because they didn't receive much funding.
