It was decent and quick. One thing I will note is time and place was an issue in one scene. For example, the merchant you would spot just before the city, pass him after the medicine talk; however, as your brother when he passes that section, (which was technically before the main character did) the merchant isn't there. If he was in the town, he would be killed or likely stop at all the dead people.

I also note on your way back from the city after getting the axe, where did he go? He couldn't of gone up as the place is blocked with the tree and he for sure couldn't of returned from the city as that's where you came back from. It's small, but it was something I noticed.

It's a really strange game. It's entertaining but not very challenging.

Man I love games like this, they make you think one thing and then take the story in a whole knew direction.

It's similar to The Day, a game were you COULD go play some cards with your friends and the game ends, OR go outside and find things you may not want to find.

(also, the medal for cutting down all the trees should have been earned by...well I don't want to spoil it for everyone else, but do that...thing)

Experimental game or not, I'm giving one star because there is nothing here worth playing.

That said, the graphics are alright. The dialog boxes should show that you can press space or something to progress through them quicker. The player controls need tweaking; If you hold down up or down and press left or right at the same time, you move left/right. But, if you release left/right you don't go back to moving up/down and have to repress the button (very irritating).

But yea, definitely needs more substance.

That was a really messed up game near the end though i liked it... but i have 1 question
- how the fuck do you set the houses on fire to get the medal ?
