Fun way to kill time.

it was hard to listin to skrillex and do dis

The real reason why you have to close other games and youtube videos, IS bad coding...

You don't need to take up all those audio channels just to mix music. Sure, it's convoluted and probably more work than you're caring to put into something like this... but don't act as if it can't be done. We're not talking bad coding in the sense it won't compile, and honestly without seeing any source code it's hard to judge, but as a general rule of thumb if you've created something that asks it's users to close other programs or else it won't run properly you've probably coded it badly.

FilipeSheepwolf responds:

If i stop loops to save some audio channels, when you play them again, they wont play in the correct sync... so I cant stop loops to save audio channels... and yes, the keyboard keys are playing (even if you don't press a key) you just can't hear them, but they are still playing... and why? because these are loops as well, they are musical sequences, if they stop playing when you dont press keys, they will be out of sync because other loops are still playing... when you press a key, they will play out of sync... everything would sound like garbage

There are different musical games that dont ask you to close other flash games, but they dont need all available audio channels... You're not able to play 2 keyboards at the same time like on this game (24 keys=24 audio channels that need to be used) AND you're not able to play extra loops on top of it... total=31 (flash limit is 32 at the moment, so, You actually have only one audio channel available here, but only one)
The nature of this game is just like that. the only solution is to decrease keyboard keys or remove some loops, and that would sacrifice the mixing possibilities and fun

Fun for a bit. Great tutorial. But it just didn't hold my attention. Maybe I'm not musical enough to appreciate this, but maybe a bit more "structure", somehow? Like you get points for discovering certain awesome combinations or something? Some sort of challenge? I feel bad for only giving you 3.5/5, since I actually think this is really neat and I'm looking forwards to the next one, but it just seems like it needs more to be complete.

Also, I kept getting the synchronization error message saying that my computer might be too slow - unlikely since I have a brand new i7.

Its a MUSICAL TOY not a game >_>
