pretty good game nice graphics, maybe a little story could go a long way as far as i can tell i have a key fetish

No this is not a copy. I actually saw a video of cut the rope and really liked the concept so I wanted to make a kind of tribute game. Thanks a bunch for a review.
I like it, but it's a bit hard to grab the levers and things (especially when they're moving) because they're so small. It's really easy to accidentally cut a chain while trying to crank a winch in particular.
It's a pretty good tribute to ctr, I really think you nailed it for the most part. Although the character (the one in the dungeon) is odd, that's not a big deal. I felt like the keys made to be in/around the blue orbs were pretty finicky on when they would really activate the chain, with quite a few pixels actually inside of the range, it seemed the hitbox was off somewhat where it would've been more comfortable to play with. Also, I think the way the key bounces back (ie when you cut the first chain to connect the second on level 8) doesn't pay homage to the mechanics of where it should've been a bit more solid - and in the same way, it applies to when the rope - err, chain - is swinging back and forth around its origin, each link swings awkwardly around individually. It seems to affect the physics a bit.
Using the collected coins for something would be nice, imho.
