I prefer Goku as a character but people don't seems to realize how ridiculously overpowered Superman is.
Superman started as a reasonably strong super hero but things really got out of hand.
He is basically on the same kind of dumb strength as Goku plus invincibility and able to survive into space. Which actually make him rather boring btw.
How could Goku beat Superman? Do people forget the only thing that can hurt him is kryponite? Which is why I don't like Superman.
